Luxury experiences agency partners with leading hotels to launch individual travel rewards

 

Eventful, part of Aeorema Communications Plc, has created a new concept for the corporate incentive travel market that will enable businesses to reward employees and associates with luxury travel experiences that can be enjoyed individually rather than as a group.

The agency has teamed up with some of the UK’s finest luxury hotels, including Beaverbrook, Gleneagles, The Berkeley, Cowarth Park and Grantley Hall, to launch Eventful Experiences, which combines the ease of gift vouchers with the motivational and aspirational impact of travel. 

Travel is one of the most popular and fastest-growing motivational tools for sales and other employees, according to surveys by the Incentive Research Foundation (IRF) in 2017 and 2018. Rewarding sales and other teams with time away from the office on a group trip not only boosts performance by anywhere from 25 to 44% (IRF) but also creates lasting memories.

“Travel restrictions, quarantines and social distancing caused by the ingoing COVID-19 pandemic have made traditional incentive travel experiences difficult to implement. Yet motivating and rewarding employees is more important than ever during these challenging times,” commented Eventful Managing Director Caroline Lumgair.

 

Eventful Experiences address current concerns around the safety of group travel, while still providing the motivational element that is usually obtained with overseas trips. Corporate clients can buy gift certificates through Eventful that their incentive winners can use to enjoy a luxury experience at one of the partner hotels with their partner, friend or family.

“Eventful Experiences create a shared sense of group participation, based on a personalised individual experience. The wide selection of hotels, UK locations, and experiences on offer allows clients to build an incentive programme that is both rewarding and bespoke to their brand and winners,” said Lumgair.

“We have collaborated with our partners to curate an unrivalled collection of exceptional packages, from adventurous escapades to rejuvenating retreats. Each Eventful Experience can be tailor-made to the attendee, designed with individual travellers in mind.”

 

The gift certificates provide an immediate solution to companies that have had to cancel their 2020 incentives as well as those concerned about committing to overseas trips for 2021. 

“Part of the thought process behind creating Eventful Experiences was also to create something that would help support our hotel partners during this difficult time,” added Lumgair.

Hotel partners have committed to delivering experiences that are not available to guests booking directly, providing winners of Eventful Experiences certificates with a truly unique ‘money can’t buy’ experience. 

The gift certificates are prepaid and a purchase of a minimum number of vouchers is required. Eventful will provide a highly personalised bespoke service to clients buying the certificates, with optional extras including a tailored communication plan and teaser campaign to engage and inspire employees, a virtual or hybrid launch event, and a professionally edited film using content created by the winners during their stays.
