Six hot new hotels for Summer 2021

Following on from our recent blog on the hottest hotel openings in Europe this summer, we’re rounding up another raft of properties that we can’t wait to check out once international travel restrictions ease.

From chic city boutiques to coastal retreats, these new options are ideal for corporates looking for somewhere new to host future events and incentives…

Our first stop is Paris, where Cheval Blanc, a 72-room luxury property on the edge of the Seine near the Louvre and Notre-Dame has just opened its doors. The newest Maison in the Cheval Blanc collection is set within the city’s historical La Samaritaine building, ranked as an architectural monument for its fusion of Art Nouveau and Art Deco architectural styles. Reimagined by Peter Marino, the property features a Dior Spa and dining by three-star Michelin chef Arnaud Donckele and a 7th floor terrace and contemporary brasserie, Table de Partage.

Airelles Château de Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle

In nearby Versailles, this stunning new boutique property is nestled within the very grounds of the internationally-renowned Château de Versailles. The hotel, housed inside three historic buildings built in 1681 by Jules-Hardouin Mansart, features 14 opulent rooms, a signature Alain Ducasse restaurant with terrace and bar, an indulgent spa by Valmont and a 15-metre indoor swimming pool. Guests can enjoy exclusive experiences in the palace and the grounds, walking in the footsteps of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette.
